A Preview of the Book: "Keep It Simple" Diet and Exercise 7 Simple Tips for a Healthy, Active Lifestyle
We have a health crisis…
“For the first time in our history, we have a health crisis with obesity. Never before, in any civilization past, have we seen so many people overweight and obese. The problem is getting worse, every day, in every country. It’s no mystery why the world is suffering from this challenge. Globally, societies are consuming far more calories than they need while performing far too little physical activity. It’s a simple balancing act of how many calories we eat and how much energy we expend. But the scale is being tipped much too far on the calorie side. It may not seem like a serious problem, but the consequences of weight gain can be quite debilitating. Every day, health care practitioners are treating obesity-related conditions throughout the world, so-called chronic and lifestyle diseases. The point is that these conditions are quite preventable with good nutrition and physical activity.
